Lunch, snacks, warm clothes as above of course, fluids.  I discourage alcohol on board my boat, only because it’s a bit of a concern safety wise.

You will need a fishing license, see above.

A professional guide to show you the area, teach you about our fishing and our environment.  Everything you need to catch fish from the palm of your hand out to the depths of the water.

Dress warm and in layers to include a light rain coat / wind breaker.  Our coastal weather changes a lot at certain times of the year, so it is best to be prepared.

Be aware - COTTON KILLS.  What is meant by that is that cotton is a terrible cold, wet, weather insulator.  In fact cotton can make it much worse.  Synthetics work great.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes you do.  They are available at www.dfg.ca.gov; go to the center left of the screen you’ll see the “online licenses” button to click.  Decide from there what licenses you want to have.  You do not need to have the ocean enhancement stamp in the northern California area; the second rod stamp is only good in inland waters, which is several miles inland from the SF Bay.

Since my trips are personalized, I like to find out what kind of an adventure you are looking to have, and base our services on that.  Generally, for a day of fishing on board Blondie, guide services, bait and tackle, it will run $250 for the boat per day.
